Frequently Asked Questions
Lash Extensions
-
The lash extensions are adhered individually to your own lashes using a special adhesive about 1 mm away from the skin.
-
Properly adhered extensions will not damage your lashes. Do not be surprised if some of the extensions fall out with your natural lashes, as your lashes have a growth cycle like the rest of the hair on your body.
-
Extensions can last from 3 to 6 weeks with proper aftercare. Since natural lashes fall out daily, it is recommended to come every 2 or 3 weeks for refill appointments.
-
During a refill appointment, the technician will remove any faulty lashes and replace the lashes that have already fallen out to ensure you have a beautiful full set of lashes again.
-
It is not recommended to use a curler or mascara as this will damage your natural lashes along with the extensions.
-
Avoid getting your new lashes wet for 24 hours after application.
Avoid extreme heat such as steam rooms, hot saunas, and hot yoga for the next 48 hours.
The following will break the bond of the extensions: oil-based products, eyelash curlers, and lash perm or tinting.
Do not use mascara, as it will dissolve the adhesive.
Gently remove eye makeup with an oil-free cleanser or remover.
Avoid rubbing your eyes and do not attempt to pull on loose extensions.
Do not attempt to remove your lash extensions yourself. Let them fall out naturally or make an appointment to have them professionally removed.
Book a refill appointment for every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain the wear of your lashes.
Microblading
-
Microblading is a method of eyebrow tattooing that mimics natural hairs. Each hair stroke is carefully tattooed manually by hand to ensure precision.
-
There is minimal pain, as we apply a medical grade numbing cream before the procedure.
-
The procedure is semi-permanent so it will last anywhere from 2 to 5 years based on healing and aftercare. Some skin types retain the pigment better than others.
